How To Do Facial Exercises To Reduce Wrinkles

The best way to do these exercises is to develop a routine for morning, noon, evening and anytime. Once you get into a rhythm, it will be hard to stop. Following are some of the best exercises for different times of the day. Remember you do not want to do so many at the same time that it stops being fun. These are good for you and the benefits are priceless.

Morning Face Routine

  • After brushing your teeth, draw some air into your mouth and let it out slowly. Repeat five times. It will tone your cheeks and help your face get that radiant glow.
  • Twitch your nose. Breathe in, relax your nose and let the air out. It will feel odd at first, but is an easy exercise once you are used to it. Rotate the twitching direction.
  • Raise your eyebrows and count to ten. Let them down slowly. Repeat five times. Working the muscles and allowing them to relax at your call is a reminder to those muscles to tone up.
  • Use your fingertips and lightly tap your face. This exercise increases blood circulation.
  • Close your lips tightly and draw your mouth in on the left and then the right. Repeat three times. The muscles around your lips and mouth will stretch, relieving sagging and restoring tone.

Just as you do in your normal workout, breathe regularly to make the most of the oxygen exchange.

Noon Face Routine

  • Stroke your fingers upwards from below your eyes to the forehead. Repeat ten times. This exercise relieves stress.
  • Rotate your eyes to the left, then up, to the right and down. Repeat five times. Your eye muscles will relax and it is especially helpful when you have been doing a lot of reading or computer work.
  • Pull your lips inside your mouth. Inhale, hold your breath to the count of three and then slowly let the air out. Complete this exercise five times to relax the muscles around the lips.
  • Put your middle and index fingers above your eyebrows. Put pressure on them and count to eight. Release the pressure. Repeat six times.

Remember to clean your hands before doing these exercises. Dirty hands can cause zits, even in adults.

Evening Face Routine

  • Puff out your cheeks and pretend you are blowing up a balloon. Repeat four times to tone your cheeks.
  • Put a thumb on each side of your chin and stroke upwards. This exercise helps reduce the double chin that seems to appear as we age. Repeat four times.
  • Open your mouth wide lengthwise. Hold if to the count of five and close it. Repeat three times.

Anytime Face Routine

  • Smile wide and hold it to the count of three. Release it and repeat seven times. Smiling is a fantastic exercise for your cheeks.
  • Chew gum because it is a very good exercise, stretching out the muscles and allowing them to relax. If you do not chew gum, make the chewing motion. Chew the gum as long as you want; pretend for one minute.

Following this procedure will tone and relax facial muscles. Your complexion will improve because of the increased blood circulation. Fine lines will decrease and best of all, you will feel happy. That smiling exercise may become a very good habit.
