The Obagi skin care system is available only through a physician's prescription. Although the manufacturer's website features a "physician locator" that helps you find a physician near you area that prescribes its products, this may be deemed as inconvenient especially for on-the-go consumers.

Obagi utilizes different approaches in each of its product lines to deliver younger looking skin. It is empirical to combine the use of different products in each of the lines in order to obtain an over-all result. Seeing how many items there are in each of the skin care system, it would probably cause the consumer more than a hundred dollars on the products alone, not to mention the doctor's fee.
