Dermalogics are the makers of Rejuvinol. Rejuvinol is sold as a day time anti-wrinkle cream that according to the manufacturers works best in conjunction with their night time anti-wrinkle cream Rejuvox. Since, the two creams are meant to be used in conjunction with one another it can be assumed that the product works best when used in that manner so, this review will cover both the day and night time cream.
Rejuvinol / Rejuvox
This product sells for about $80.00 for each two ounce jar which means for 2 ounces of both the day and nighttime formula you will be paying a hefty $160 dollars. While the price is quite steep, this product claims to make you younger by smoothing those droopy browns, reducing facial wrinkles and crows feet, increasing your skins firmness and giving your skin a plumper more youthful appearance.
With this list of benefits, Rejuvinol could be well worth the price if it actually delivers on it's promises.
Ingredients
When first looking at the ingredients for Rejuvinol, one can't help but be impressed with all the good stuff that seems to loaded into these 1.7 ounce jars of Rejuvinol/Rejuvox cream. The ingredients do seem to contain quite a mix of vitamins, peptides and botanicals, which are all great for the skin and have the potential for reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
However, upon closer inspection you will notice that although these products contain many great ingredients, the sheer number of ingredients tell a different story. A good anti-wrinkle cream needs to carry sufficient amounts of any one ingredient in order to reduce wrinkles. Having over 30 ingredients packed into less than a two ounce jar guarantees that there won't be enough of any one ingredient to work as it should. This means that due to the sheer amount of ingredients contained in the Rejuvinol products, none of them will be very effective at diminishing wrinkles.
In addition, Rejuvinol contains both parabens and artificial fragrances both of which can irritate the skin of many users.
Other reviews of this product suggests that Rejuvinol does work as a fairly good moisturizer, though few reviewers saw any reduction in wrinkles or fine lines. While some found the product irritating to their skin others did feel that their skin was a little better hydrated than before use. Most felt that Rejuvinol did not live up to its promises and found it to be far to expensive for the few benefits they received.
Conclusion
While this product does contain some great anti-aging ingredients, there are simply too many to work effectively to reduce fine wrinkles and lines. Rejuvinol would have been more effective with half the ingredients. In addition, the high price and the limited results makes it impossible for most people to consider using this product on a regular or semi regular bases.
While the idea behind Rejuvinol is good, it simply does not live up to it's claims and therefore, you would be better off to spend your money on a cheaper, more beneficial product.
